12 Plus Size Finds to Make Your Summer Wardrobe Sing With Colour

Don’t let these images confuse you, I’ve specifically chosen plus size garments for this post. The thing is, these retailers, for the most part, have chosen not to show their garments on plus size models even though they offer the sizes. It’s very frustrating.

I suppose we are meant to give fashion brands a gold star if they bother making larger sizes in anything they carry (even though most aren’t generally sized beyond a 3X - Torrid excluded). I wanted to share some easy pieces to lift your wardrobe game and demonstrate how buying just one colourful garment can give your look a shot in the arm.

It wasn’t easy to find pieces I really liked. Plus size clothes continues to be either skimpy or extra baggy, with outdated prints and/or styles everywhere. Finding on trend, modern looks for larger women is still a challenge. I don’t want a separate range of baggy, bland clothing - just extend the sizes on the pieces you offer smaller woman! Ugh, it’s a pain but I’ve managed to find some pretties that I really like.
