My Australian Bedroom Retreat Design Entry for the Meridian Experience, Overstock Makeover Competition

In just two weeks, I’ll be heading back down to Seattle for the Meridian Experience Weekend for Interior Design Influencers and I cannot wait!

Last year’s experience blew my mind, I learned so much!

Attendees last year were given the opportunity to enter an interior project into a draw to be featured on Apartment Therapy. Of course, I entered Waratah Retreat with all it’s quirky, vintage Aussie style. I didn’t win on the weekend but Apartment Therapy contacted me not long afterwards to ask if they could feature the Retreat anyway.

You can find that article here, I still pinch myself over it.

For this year’s experience, attendees have been given the opportunity to do a makeover with Overstock which is very exciting! I’ve been giving you guys affiliated links for Overstock (there’ll be more at the end of this post) and I used a lot of their products to furnish the Retreat in 2021. They ship to Canada quickly and have great customer service.

Our main bedroom at home is a little sad. As a designer, my own home is usually the last to receive a makeover and the bedroom is usually at the last of that list.

For this makeover competition, I thought why not spoil myself and actually focus on the bedroom just for me (and Husband). I came up with this gorgeous design drawing from the relaxing vibe at Waratah Retreat and found some wonderful products at Overstock to recreate the look at home.

Why not be on vacation in your own bedroom?

Presenting my Australian Bedroom Retreat design, eclectic and colourful with a retro vibe.

Do you love it as much as I do?

Imagine if I actually won and got to pamper my bedroom this way…

So, here are all the affiliated links to the Overstock products I used to create this retro design. As always, these are links which put a little something in my pocket if you make a purchase. No pressure but you gotta be in it to win it, as my Dad used to say.
