How to recreate this divine, pastel pink living room that is giving Barbie movie meets cottage core vibes.

Pastel pink heaven

Remember this divine pink living room from The House That Colour Built?

In this post I’m going to show you how to recreate it. I’ve scoured the internet to find my favourite, affordable pieces that will complete the look.

I just love how fresh this space feels.

Here’s my pastel pink living room design.

There are some pretty nice pink sofas around at the moment, but I couldn’t resist this sherpa one, so cosy. The quaint blue fireplace is a must for contrast and creating a focus in the room.

While Jess from The House That Colour Built has the sweetest, triangular tiles for her hearth, I’ve sourced some easy tile stickers so you can just cover up what’s already there. Tile stickers are one of my favourite items to spruce up a place, as they are affordable and hold up pretty well until you want to change the look.

I’ve chosen Benjamin Moore paint colours Genuine Pink 2005-40 and Unspoken Love 1269 as a close match to the ones in the original space. Of course, you can ask any paint company to colour match but I love BM the most.

Anyhoo, my aim with this blog is to not be overly wordy (quite the challenge for me!) so here is the shopping list if you want to make this space your own.

1.Pink Sofa - Structube

2.Blue Fireplace - Wayfair

3.Peel & Stick Tile - Etsy

4.Rug - Wayfair

5.Cushions - Wayfair

Urban Outfitters

6.Art - Etsy

7.Pitcher - Amazon

8.Vase - Linen Chest

9.Bowl - Linen Chest

That’s it!

Next week I’ll be sharing more fun things related to this scheme and maybe a little update re what’s happening at my place.

Thanks for reading!
