Lola Clutch - Golden, Green Trim

Of course, Lola is a showgirl. She is ready for a night on the town! This gorgeous clutch is handcrafted from upcycled materials. Fully lined with colourful, pink plaid fabric and hung on a simple metal chain which neatly hides away when not in use. Lola is created from Jen’s collection of vintage, Italian bedspreads and her enormous stash of wonderful patches and trim.

Whether you’re doing the merengue or the cha-cha, Lola will keep your essentials safely tucked away. With feathers in your hair and Lola on your arm, you’ll be too busy on the dance floor for Rico, Tony, and their foolishness!

Materials

Jen’s collection of vintage and deadstock fabrics is ever-changing and diverse. Textiles ranging from treasured, Italian wedding blankets to colourful, thrifted afghan blankets, Jen saves these beauties from landfill and waits for inspiration to come. 

She’s collected so many interesting trims, laces and appliques along the way, some thrifted and some not. Is she a hoarder or a caregiver? I suppose it depends upon who you ask in her household. 

It’s wonderful to give new life to these pieces, and even more wonderful when you welcome them into your open arms.
